| breakfast |i'm an egg person. i could eat them at any meal of the day! but if i'm eating at breakfast time, then darn it there better be some eggs on my plate! i love a good omelet, a boiled egg with salt and pepper and a turned over egg on a sandwich is great too, but give me some traditional scrambled and i'll be a happy camper all day :) i like to scramble my eggs with onion flakes (my secret ingredient for everything), but my husband corbin gags at the mere thought."i like my eggs plain, and occasionally with american cheese" is always his response. he doesn't know what he's missing if you ask me. onion flakes for life man!

| lunch |it's funny; most people will eat something like a sandwich and chips or a salad for lunch and be satisfied. but me? i need something that'll sink to the bottom of my stomach. if i could have food as best friends, they would definitely be fries and potato wedges. guacamole rocks all of my socks too :) i usually meal prep at the beginning of the week so that i can just grab and go. i always have a balanced meal. gotta have a meat, a vegetable, a starch and if i'm feeling froggy, i'll throw in a dessert too :) i love the idea of cooking for the week, but sometimes i get tired of eating the same thing everyday...go figure.

| dinner |so if its gonna be the last meal of the day, it better be a good one right? you can never go wrong with chicken. and you can prepare it so many different ways! i love it baked, fried, sauteed, smothered and i can't forget grilled :) throw some kabobs on the barbie and you've got yourself one heck of a meal!
corbin and i actually grill at least once a week. there's nothing like a smoky piece of chicken..lol...and then there's the added element of cooking outside. i absolutely love being outdoors and would be there round the clock if i could. give me a plate of kabobs and a glass of pink moscato and all will be well with the world. |
| you can't forget a good piña colada! |
refreshing. sweet. tart. just darn good.
